The continues fight for the refurbishment of peace in the Anglophone region of Cameroon put CHRDA into relentless quest for peace. This is as a result of the fight between groups of Ambazonian separatists and the military since 2017. The fight has led to the burning of more 128 villages according to CHRDA. Because of this, many internally displaced persons (IDP) are increasing every day and they live under deplorable conditions within the territory of Cameroon. That is, they are either in bushes or in other part of the territory where their properties and job sites cannot be transferred or move along with them. This can be seen bellow in their latest released on the number of villages burned and number of people affected.
