Communique on the death of Tataw Brandy in Bamenda on Friday 12th November 2021

The death of five years old Caro Louise Ndialle who died gruesomely in Buea about 29 days ago has not yet subsided. We were still contemplating why humanity has chosen the way of destruction in an era of multiple civilizations. One would have imagined that the protest on that day would restrain humanity from manslaughter. At a time when global Christianity is shifting southwards and at a time when the sanctity of life posits that human life is sacred and is a gift from God which is to be respected and protected, man has become more barbaric against its own kind.

We are deeply saddened to hear that another such gruesome incident has taken place in Bamenda today Friday 12″ November 2021 where seven years old Tataw Brandy met with her death through a bullet released by an irresponsible Police officer who is supposed to be a friend to civilians.

We strongly condemn the outright show of unprofessionalism and irresponsible use of firearms in the midst of armless civilians. Another school child again? When is this going to stop?

It is true that “the LORD is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (Psalm 34:18) Apostle John also reveals in Revelation 21:4 that, “God will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death” or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” We believe that this prophecy will come to pass in our time. constitutional autonomy as a Church.
