Anglophone Crisis in Cameroon: Armed Separatists naked and abuse students in Buea for violating ghost town
1 min readArmed separatists have naked and molested students in Bwitingi-Buea, the South West Region of Cameroon. The act took place on 12 January 2022.
In the gruesome videos circulated online, students can be heard begging for mercy, the action took place Besides Bwitingi, Baptist church, a locality in Buea.
This happened when the armed separatists in an attempt to prevent AFCON from playing in Limbe, launched an attack before a fierce counter attack from the Cameroon military in Buea.
It is Worthy to note that the separatists earlier called for Ghost town in other to enforce their stand that there’s should be no AFCON in the English Speaking Regions. The students attacked were allegedly students of GHS Bokova-Buea. At the time of this report, no official statement has been issued by the local administrators or the school authorities
Though with these attacks, the football martches still played in Limbe without any disturbance.
