Cameroon: Fire outbreak in Yaoundé nightclub kills more than a dozen and injures several persons
2 min readIn the early hours of 23 January, 2022 around 3:00 am, there was a fire outbreak in LIVS Night Club in Yaounde, the political capital city of Cameroon.
Dozens of civilians were feared dead as a result of the fire incident in Bastos, a locality in Yaounde, many people feared dead as at least 16 persons lost their lives and 8 persons got injured
As announced by the Cameroon Minister of Communications, René Emmanuel Sadi, the investigations are going on to ascertain the cause of the explosion which killed at least 16 persons and injured 8 including those in critical conditions
