Cameroon: At least 6 people killed including a senior government official in a bomb blast in the South West Region
1 min readOn 3 March 2022, a car was hit by an Improvised explosives device in Ekondo Titi, the South West Region of Cameroon. The incident happened when the officials were taking a tour in the vicinity.
Among the persons killed are; Timothée Aboloa the Divisional Officer of Ekondo Titi, Ndian Division of the South West Region, the Mayor, Nanji Kenneth, a driver, Meh Stanley, a CPDM Section President Ebeku William, and two bodyguards as reported by Mimi Mefo Info | Facebook
The act was allegedly committed by Ambazonian Fighters, using remote-controlled IEDs. From the pictures circulated online, the car was seriously damaged.
