2 min read

In commemoration of Global Recycling Day on 18 March 2024, Bright Light Projects, an International nongovernmental Organization has launched an Environmental Sustainability Manual, outlining policies, procedures, and best practices for minimizing its environmental footprint. Bright Lights Projects Promotes 5 C’s of Environmental Sustainability and have continued to Call for Partnerships to Combat Pollution. The manual emphasizes on the 5 C’s of environmental sustainability, that is; Consciousness, Conservation, Community, Culture, and Commerce.

Bright Light Projects’ initiative aligns with the Global Recycling Foundation’s theme of these year’s commemoration “Recycling Heroes.” recognizing the importance of recycling in preserving natural ecosystems, lowering carbon emissions, and securing the planet’s future.

The Bright Light Projects Environmental Sustainability Matrix integrates 13 core elements, including reforestation, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, waste management, and eco-friendly products.

Bright Light Projects is calling on partners to join efforts to combat plastic, water, and air pollution and promote sustainable waste management systems. The organization has launched three key projects aimed at galvanizing efforts and awareness in support of preserving our planet; that is reforestation Hope, Promoting Sustainable Waste Management, and Restoring Hope.

“We urge individuals, businesses, and leaders to pledge to become better recyclers, reduce waste, and promote sustainable living,” said Franco Bonghan, Executive Director of Bright Light Projects.
