About the Organization
UNIMAC (Universal Maidens Association Cameroon) is a nongovernmental and not for profit making organization in Cameroon with headquarters in Bamenda, the North West Region. The organization is dedicated to empowering and uplifting women and girl’s rights in Cameroon through campaign and advocacy, education, and humanitarian interventions. Their vision is to create a world free from violence, exploitation, and environmental harm where every individual thrives in equality and dignity. Their mission is to bring together all maidens in Cameroon into a united force and contribute to improving the quality of life by enhancing knowledge, sustainable practices, and services in the areas of education, health, governance, agriculture, climate change, and environmental protection.
They strive to promote gender equality, provide resources and opportunities, and create a more inclusive society where every woman can thrive and succeed. They are looking for passionate and dedicated volunteers to join the organization in their efforts to make a positive impact in the lives of women and girls across Cameroon.
