Call for Papers: HRLRC Online Peer Review Journal

Buea-Cameroon: The HRLRC Online Peer Review Journal is excited to announce a call for the submission of papers on the following key areas Law, human rights and humanitarian, political science and public administration, conflict prevention and resolution, socioeconomic, sociocultural and sociopolitical areas or Social Sciences in general! This is a fantastic opportunity for researchers, scholars, and practitioners to showcase their work and contribute to the growing body of knowledge in the field of social sciences.
Focus and Scope
The aim of the Human Rights and Legal Research Center Online Peer Review Journal is to publish high-quality research articles, reviews, and theoretical papers in all areas of social sciences. The Human Rights and Legal Research Centre Online Journal welcomes contributions from scholars, practitioners, and students worldwide. We focused on the following key areas Law, human rights and humanitarian, political science and public administration, conflict prevention and resolution, socioeconomic, sociocultural and sociopolitical areas. Human Rights and Legal Research Centre is an online publishing platform that was founded in 2017 and it is a subsidiary of BeriComsEmpire which is a registered Business with registration number: TPPRR/RC/BUA/2023/A/0206.

Your Peer Review Article will be independently published and will be included in our Quarterly Journal. Publication Fee for Cameroonians: 18,000 FRS and $35 USD for International authors. Submission Guidelines
Originality:
When submitting the manuscripts you must ensure that it is original and it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere
Length:
When it comes to research articles, the number of words should not exceed 8,000 including references, tables. For Review articles, it should not exceed 4,000 words and when it comes to book reviews word limit is 1000.

Citation Styles Recommended
- “APA style”: which will make use of an author-date system, in text citation directing the reader to the list of references and then followed by the full list of references at the end of the paper
- Chicago Manual of Style: which make us of footnote/endnote followed by Bibliography
Significance
- The findings should be significant and advance the understanding of the topic.
Supplementary Materials
- Authors are encouraged to provide supplementary materials, such as datasets and additional figures, to support their findings. Authors should make sure that borrowed supplementary materials are well referenced and acknowledge or that they have authorization from the owners of the supplementary materials if they are not the authors of such materials
Peer Review Process:
All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process. This means that reviewers are hidden from authors of the work and authors are hidden from reviewers. Reviewers are selected based on their expertise and are required to provide constructive feedback. The review process typically takes not more than one month, and outcomes include acceptance, minor revisions, major revisions, or rejection.
Publication Ethics:
When submitting, authors must ensure that their work is free from plagiarism and that all sources are properly cited. The Human Rights and Legal Research Centre Online Journal uses plagiarism detection software to screen submissions. Plagiarism above 25% in any instance will result in the rejection of the manuscript.
Ethical Considerations
- The research should adhere to ethical standards, including proper citation of sources and respect for participants’ rights.
- Any conflicts of interest should be disclosed.
Open Access Policy
Human Rights and Legal Research Centre Online Peer Review Journal is an open-access journal. This means that all articles are available to the public. Authors retain the copyright of their work allowing others to share and adapt the work with proper attributions or references.
Analysis and Evidence
- The analysis should be thorough and well-reasoned, with appropriate evidence supporting the conclusions.
- The article should make a clear contribution to the existing literature.
Presentation
- The article should be well-written and presented in Standard English.
- It should follow the journal’s formatting guidelines, including but not limited to sections such as Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Discussion, Recommendations and Conclusion.
Special Issues
The Human Rights and Legal Research Centre Online Journal occasionally publishes special issues on specific topical problems or social, sociopolitical, socioeconomic or sociocultural and development debates in social sciences. Proposals for special issues can be submitted to the Chief Editor for consideration at hrlrcjournal@hrlrc.org
