RECRUITMENT OF PROFESSIONAL INTERN TO WORK ON THE PHYSICAL COUNT OF ASSETS OF PLAN INTERNATIONAL CAMEROON

Plan International Cameroon is seeking to recruit seven ( 07)  interested candidates to fill the position of Professional intern, to work on the physical count of assets of Plan International Cameroon.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the authority of the Internal Controller, the consultant will among other tasks perform the following tasks:
i.    Identify all the Plan International Cameroon existing physical assets 
ii.    Update the assets register, determine the status of the assets 
iii.    Agree the physical count of assets with the data base logged in the asset management software LOGEMA 
iv.    Prepare comprehensive report highlighting weaknesses and make appropriate recommendations

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

•    First degree in Management Sciences or equivalent
•    Excellent understanding of, and written and oral communication skills in, English or French.
•    Proficient in computer and use of relevant computer applications, e.g. MS Excel, word processing, spreadsheet, database, web-based system.

DESIRABLE

•    Self-motivated and able to work to tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
•    Robust analytical skills and the ability to work with tact, sensitivity and diplomacy.
•    Ability to adapt quickly to change.
•    Demonstrates an innovative and creative approach to problem-solving, multiple commitments and the promotion of learning.
•    Motivates others through personal example.
•    Intelligent, tenacious, logical, sensitive, analytical, calm, respectful, trustworthy and open-minded.
•    Keep confidentiality, ensure co-operation within and support of the team.
•    Respects and protects the rights of children and is gender-sensitive.

Low contact: No contact or very low frequency of interaction
