Calling Cameroon’s Youth: Apply Now for the 2026 FES Young Leaders Programme
Deadline: 3 December 2025
The Friedrich Ebert Foundation (FES) is launching the 2026 edition of the Young Leaders Training Programme, an initiative dedicated to strengthening the political participation of young men and women involved in civil society, trade unions and political parties in Cameroon.
The programme promotes the values of social democracy – freedom, justice and solidarity – by equipping a new generation of young actors and actresses of change.
Since 2012, the FES has been supporting young leaders in Yaoundé and, since 2018, has placed particular emphasis on training Cameroonian participants.
For the 2026 edition, 25 young women and men will be selected to participate in eight two-day training sessions (Thursday to Friday), organised at the end of each month from March to October 2026, either in person or online (Zoom).
These sessions will cover a variety of topics: political leadership, strategic communication, democratic values, and operational management tools.
