The rise in rights violations in Cameroon’s English Speaking Regions demands UN intervention

Combat between Separatists fighting for the independence state of Ambazonia and Cameroon Defense and Security Forces continuous. There is no need for the UN to wait for the worst to happened to humanity before coming to intervene. More than three thousand people have been killed, hundreds of thousand internally or externally displace and there has been rise in rights violations violations in the two regions. CHRDA, Human Rights Watch, UNHCR, and other Civil Society Organizations have recently reported a rise in violence and it is a matter of urgency
